This summer’s two most significant entertainment phenomena, Greta Gerwig’s latest blockbuster “Barbie” and musical gem Taylor Swift Eras Tour, share many similarities. The two portray conventionally beautiful blond women on the verge of enacting an ambivalence many fans share towards mainstream femininity. In reclaiming girlhood without renouncing power, their success proves there is a demand for media that focuses on women’s experiences and lives.
As The Wall Street Journal reported in June, Eras Tour could make history as the highest-grossing tour of all time and the first to gross more than $1 billion. Ten studio albums have been released by the Bad Blood singer, each with a different theme and journey for the listener. During the singer’s “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour,” fans worldwide celebrate the unique eras of each of her albums. Also, with Spotify’s newly added feature, Swifties can find their ‘Top 5 Taylor Swift Eras‘ apart from her Eras Tour.

NFL Player Travis Kelce Describes His Failed Attempt Of Giving His Number To Taylor Swift At Her Eras Tour
According to Billboard, Travis Kelce, 33, of the Kansas City Chief’s tight end, revealed this week that he tried to meet Taylor Swift on one of the stops of her Eras Tour but was unsuccessful. The pop star reportedly kept a tight rein on the backstage area of his tour and did not make an exception for the Super Bowl champion. Billboard reported that as part of the latest episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the 2023 Super Bowl champion recalled his attempt.
During the podcast co-hosted by Kelce’s brother Jason, he said,
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.”
He added,
“I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her. If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
Despite his best efforts, Kelce revealed he could not deliver Swift’s personalized bracelet as planned. The NFL star attended Taylor Swift Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City earlier this month and was just one of many on the record-breaking global tour.
