Joel shared the news on January 22nd on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, “It’s time to TURN THE LIGHTS BACK ON. Brand new single coming February 1st.” He also gave a sneak peek of the song on social media, featuring a simple piano melody.
This new track, ‘Turn the Lights Back On,’ will be available on streaming services and as a 7-inch vinyl record (limited edition) starting February 1st. Another contributor to the song is Wayne Hector, a famous British pop writer known for creating many No. 1 singles for Westlife, JLS, and others.
