Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a royally cute date night on August 4, 2023, to celebrate the Duchess’ 42nd birthday. It was evident that the Duke and Duchess were as happy and radiant as ever during their outing. For the first time in a long time, the Sussex couple appeared happy and enjoying their time together, forgetting their ongoing tumultuous situation.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle garnered much media attention after they stepped down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020. In the wake of Prince Harry’s biopic Spare and the Sussex couple’s Netflix documentary, Harry & Meghan, the Sussex couple received quite a bit of buzz. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly going through a lot lately after public backlash, a failed business deal, a royal rift and public spats with their loved ones. Meghan Markle did not receive a public birthday wish from the royals on her birthday, allegedly proving that things between them are not amicable.

No Birthday Wishes For Meghan Markle, Reportedly From The Royal Family!
It seems that the Royal Family has reportedly decided not to offer any public tributes to Meghan Markle on her 42nd birthday on August 4, 2023, as the royal family and the Sussex couple seem unable to hold aside their spat for the time being. According to INDEPENDENT, the official Twitter (now rebranded as X) accounts for the royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales and King Charles and Queen Camilla, publicly wished Meghan Markle a happy birthday last year. However, the duchess has yet to be wished a happy birthday on any official Twitter(X) account, whether for the King or Prince William.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ Twitter(X) account @KensingtonRoyal shared a picture of Meghan Markle wearing a white coat and matching hat on her 41st birthday last year, wishing her a happy birthday by tweeting, “Wishing a happy birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!”
The royal family has wished Meghan Markle a happy birthday yearly since she and her husband, Prince Harry, stepped down from royal duties in 2020. This time, however, it has not been made public if it has occurred. Also, according to reports, on Prince Archie’s fourth birthday, which coincided with King Charles’ coronation, he did not receive any birthday wishes.
Since the Sussex couple moved to Los Angeles in 2020 and stepped away from royal duties, tensions have steadily worsened. Now, amid the royal feud, reports are emerging that the Duke and the Duchess will not be present at the royal family gathering marking one year after Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
