In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tenet director said,

“It’s flattering that people would think I would be capable of something as extreme as that on the one hand, but it’s also a little bit scary.”

Nolan added,

“CG inherently is quite comfortable to look at. It’s safe, anodyne. And what I said to Andrew on Oppenheimer is, ‘This can’t be safe. It can’t be comfortable to look at it. It has to have bite. It’s got to be beautiful and threatening in equal measure’.”

There is an impressive cast of stars with Cillian Murphy, including Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh. This star-studded flick is based on the life of American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who was responsible for inventing the atomic bomb during the Manhattan Project in the 1940s.

Christopher Nolan Talks About His Other Hit Movies

Christopher Nolan’s movies are full of thrilling action, tension, confusion and memorable endings. This week marks the long-awaited release of Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which clashes with Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.

Inception(2010) Director Nolan

Several of his films, such as Tenet, Interstellar, Inception and Dunkirk, ended with dramatic final moments that left moviegoers emotional and thinking.

It’s hard for the filmmaker to choose just one film as his all-time favorite, but the ending of his 2010 crime thriller Inception is a favorite. In an interview with Business Insider, Nolan said,

“In terms of sitting with a crowd and experiencing the end of the film, ‘Inception’ was a very unique type of ending”.

He added,

“If I would sneak into the back of the theatre when it was playing, and we would get to the end, there would be a tremendous sort of gasp, groans, frustrations — it was an incredible mixture, and I would feel very much like I need to get out of here before anybody notices I’m there”.

Furthermore, Nolan said to Insider,

“So that was a pretty remarkable ending to sit through with audiences over the years. But to single one out beyond that is like asking which of the films is my favourite, and that’s certainly not something I’m qualified to say.”

As a matter of fact, he will only think about committing to a movie once the ending is sorted out. Despite this, Nolan’s Oppenheimer has already proven his best movie based on its premiere and popularity among fans.
