‘Despicable Me 4‘ Trailer: Gru And His Family Join Forces To Take On A Rival Seeking Revenge!
Universal Pictures and Illumination just released the first trailer for ‘Despicable Me 4,’ which will be in theaters on July 3, 2024. In this animated film, former supervillain Gru has to deal with a new enemy to keep his family safe and save the world. The trailer, released by Illumination on Monday, shows Gru, voiced by Steve Carell, 61, facing off against a new rival named Maxime, voiced by Will Ferrell, and his girlfriend Valentina, voiced by Sofia Vergara.
The trailer, which is two minutes and 26 seconds long, gives us a peek into Gru’s family life with his three adopted girls, newborn son, and wife. But things turn when Gru’s new rival, Maxime Le Mal, escapes from prison, plans revenge against Gru, and forces the Gru gang to go on the run. As Gru and his family go on a new adventure, they team up with the Minions to pull off a daring heist. Together, they work to protect the family and save the world from the new villain, Maxime.
