The 2024 Grammy Awards will happen on February 4 in Los Angeles. This time, female artists are expected to win big awards in major categories, including Album of the Year. The biggest music event of the year will take place at the Crypto.com Arena, where artists like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and more will take the stage. Unfortunately, music icon Taylor Swift won’t perform at the 2024 Grammy Awards because she has commitments for her Eras Tour in the upcoming days.

There are reports that she might attend the ceremony because she received six nominations for the Grammy Awards this year. One of her nominations is for Album of the Year for her album ‘Midnights.‘ Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, might be disappointed not to see her perform live at the event. But they can find comfort knowing she will perform in her Japan Eras Tour next week.

Taylor Swift Will Not Perform At the 2024 Grammys Due To Her Upcoming Japan Eras Tour!

Music icon Taylor Swift, a 34-year-old famous pop singer, has been nominated for six awards at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. The awards ceremony will occur on Sunday, February 4, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Billboard says the pop star will not perform live during the event. However, she is expected to attend the most prominent musical event as she bagged nominations this year in major categories.

Right after the Grammys, the ‘Lover‘ singer will head overseas for four consecutive concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan as part of her blockbuster Eras Tour called ‘The Eras Tour Japan.’ This Japanese part of the tour will start on February 7 and finish on February 10.

After Japan, she’ll continue her tour in Australia, Asia, and Europe throughout the summer. The Eras Tour will return to the United States and Canada in the fall.

Music Icon Taylor Swift Bags Six Grammy Nominations, Including Album Of The Year For ‘Midnights

At the 2024 Grammys, music icon Taylor Swift was nominated for six awards in major categories. These nominations include:

  • Album Of The Year for ‘Midnights
  • Best Pop Vocal Album for ‘Midnights
  • Song of the Year for her song ‘Anti-Hero
  • Best Pop Solo Performance for her song ‘Anti-Hero
  • Record of the Year for her song ‘Anti-Hero
  • Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her remix of ‘Karma‘ featuring Ice Spice.

If the ‘Anti-Hero‘ singer wins ‘Album of the Year,’ she’ll make history by winning it four times.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs, won’t be able to support her in Los Angeles as the Super Bowl is happening just a week after the Grammy Awards. The Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled for February 11th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where the Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers for the championship. According to Billboard, during an interview, Travis Kelce shared his feelings, saying he wants to support the music icon Taylor Swift at the Grammys and see her win all the awards she’s nominated for. But he has football practice on Sunday.

Besides music icon Taylor Swift, SZA and Janelle Monae have a great chance to break essential records. One of them might become the first Black woman in the 21st century to win the Album of the Year Grammy. SZA is leading the pack with the most nominations and has a solid chance to win because of her groundbreaking Album, ‘SOS.

South African comedian-actor Trevor Noah is going to be the host for the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. It’s his fourth time hosting in a row! Folks can watch the music awards on CBS, which will air from 8 pm to 11:30 pm Eastern time or from 5 pm to 8:30 pm Pacific time on February 4th.
