Swift was nominated for six Grammy Awards in different categories but won two nods this year. The second one was for ‘Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights.’ Before this, she was tied with Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra for the Best Album award, each having won it three times.

Celine Dion unexpectedly showed up amid health concerns and presented the award to Swift. Taylor Swift also surprised everyone by announcing a new album during the event. She didn’t perform this time because she was busy with her tour in Japan, called the Japan Eras Tour.

Besides Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish were big winners at the ceremony. Miley Cyrus won her first two Grammys for Best Pop Solo Performance category and Record of the Year for her song, Flowers. Taylor Swift Announces New Album ‘Tortured Poets Department’ In ‘Album Of The Year Award For Midnights’ Acceptance Speech

Taylor Swift surprised everyone with another announcement during her speech after she won the Album of The Year Award for Midnights at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday. She got her 13th Grammy, which she considers her lucky number. During her acceptance speech, she revealed that her new album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ will be released on April 19, which was another fan moment for Swifties.

After winning her record-breaking Grammy, Taylor Swift gave a heartfelt speech. She said, “I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans.”

She continued, “So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19.”

Swift even mentioned that she’d be sharing the album cover backstage. She said,  “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department. I’m gonna go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you. I love you. Thank you.”

Taylor Swift expressed her love and gratitude to her fans for winning the record-breaking Album Of The Year Award for Midnights. In October 2022, Swift released her tenth original studio album, Midnights. It produced several big hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including ‘Anti-Hero,’ which reached No. 1, ‘Lavender Haze’ and ‘Karma,’ both of which reached No. 2.

The 34-year-old pop superstar recently wore many attractive outfits at her concerts and the Award ceremonies, including the 2024 Grammy Awards. When Taylor Swift attended the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, she looked stunning in a black-and-white outfit. According to CNN, she wore a Schiaparelli gown that didn’t have straps and had a high slit on the thigh. She paired it with black opera gloves and some exciting accessories.
